Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Bodnar of 227 Buena Vista Avenue have announced the engagement of their daughter, Helen, to Carlo Sarno, son of Mrs. Rose Sarno of 11 Thomas Avenue and the late Nunzi Sarno.

Miss Bodnar attended Girls' Vocational High School and is employed by the Phelps Dodge Copper Products Corporation.

Mr. Sarno, also an employee of the Phelps Dodge Copper Products Corporation, attended Saunders Trades School.
