Helene Margaret (McElwee) Hofmeister of 99 Barclay St., in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania United States was born on August 30, 1943 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County to John Joseph McElwee and Margaret Bertha McElwee. She had siblings Margaret Jane Maccabee, John Joseph McElwee Jr., Philip John McElwee, Mary Ann Weidner, and Regina Marie McElwee. She married George Thomas Hofmeister Sr. circa 1967 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, and they were married until Helene's death on April 28, 2018 at Chandler Hall Health Services 99 Barclay St., in Newtown, Bucks County. She had children Kristina (Hofmeister) Attryde, Amanda Lynn Barner, and George Thomas Hofmeister Jr.. Helene Hofmeister was buried on May 3, 2018 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Rd., in Newtown.
