Henry Franklin Hyslop of Melbourne East Australia was born in 1873 to Henry Thomas Hyslop and Mary Ann (Willenson) Hyslop. He had siblings Lillie Hyslop, Jessie Hyslop, George Washington Hyslop, Alice (Hyslop) Cumming, and Thomas Jefferson Hyslop. He married Elsie Stuart Hyslop, and had children Nell Hyslop, Albert Neil Hyslop, and Lillian Hyslop. Henry Hyslop died at age 55 years old in 1928 in Melbourne East.

Henry married Elsie Stuart Hall in 1909 in Victoria, Australia. Together they had Nell (born 1910), Albert Neil (1912-1987), Lillian (born 1915), and Marjory Hyslop.
