Herbert John Norman Lockens of Notting Hill, City of Monash County, VIC Australia was born in 1870 in Mulgrave to Daniel Lockens and Agnes Hutchison Lockens. He had siblings Susan Lockens, Sophia Lockens, Francis Frederick William Lockens, Agnes Lockens, Ethell Caroline Lockens, and Agnes Clara May Lockens. He married Ethel Myrtle (Judge) Lockens in 1911, and had children Allen Francis Lockens, Jean Agnes Lockens, Daniel William Lockens, and Reginald Herbert Lockens. Herbert Lockens died at age 62 years old on October 4, 1933 in Notting Hill.
