He married Rosa Anna Siegle Deutscher on July 30, 1919 in Murtoa, Yarriambiack Shire County, Victoria, and had a child Marie Deutscher. Herbert Deutscher died at age 85 years old on November 29, 1972 in Dandenong, City of Greater Dandenong County, VIC.
