Hugo Magers' father was Henry Charles Magers (1873 - 1945) and his mother was Louisa Rausch (1878 - 1963). Hugo married Emma Louisa Dolle (1904 - 1990) on January 8, 1926, in San Antonio, Texas and they had two sons: one of whom was Richard Hugo Magers (1928 - 2010), the other is still alive. When Hugo was age 48, he, Louise, and son Robert were living in San Antonio, Texas. Hugo ws working for the telephone company as a toll board supervisor.
