Just before my father perished, I sent my wife, and our daughter, Raquel Rocio Martin, to visit Raquel's grandfather in Lebanon, Linn County, Oregon. Raquel was 6 months old, and Vernon loved her so much, that he went when Raquel and her Mum returned to Connecticut. He died in his home several months later.
