He was married to Giuseppa (Monte) Dragotto on December 10, 1912 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania United States, and they were together until Ignazio's death on March 13, 1969 in Salem, Salem County, New Jersey United States. Ignazio Dragotto had children Stephen James Dragotto Sr., Josephine (Dragotto) Godish, Russell Salvatore Dragotto, Anna Marie (Dragotto) LaSpada, Gaetana Mary (Dragotto) Brown, Joseph Degrotto, Grazia DeGrotto, and Salvatore John DeGrotto.
