Ingram Collett was born on May 11, 1861 in Asher, Leslie County, Kentucky United States to Pleasant Lee Collett and Polly Ann (Hall) Collett, and had siblings Mary Collett, Martha Collett, Catherine Collett, Lucy Collet, Ellen Collett., Jane Collett, Dire Collett, John R. Collett, Elizabeth Collett, Alice Collett, Pleasant Lee Collett Jr., Mattie Belle Collett, and Laura Collett. He was the parent of Mary Collett. Ingram's partner was Rena Cope, and they had children Arthur Collett, Shelby Collett, Grant Collett, Wiley Collett, Millie Jane (Collett) Wilson, and Delora (Collett) Caldwell. Ingram Collett died at age 66 years old on September 2, 1927, and was buried Burial at Collett Family Cemetery,.
