An amazing aunt whom I loved and deeply admired.
I remember Aunt Irene as always having a genuinely friendly bubbly smile on her face and a true unique spirit about her. Her and my mom had similar personalities. Both my mother and Aunt Irene were highly optimistic and I can never remember either one of them being unfriendly or negative toward anyone. As a young man of about 19 yrs old I can remember my Aunt Irene, Uncle Clarence and my cousins as though it was yesterday.I remember nice dinners my Aunt Irene always made and I offered to wash the dishes afterwards to show my appreciation. My Aunt was a warm and hospitable person. I remember Uncle Clarence spending a lot of his time in his garage working on cars and I would just stand there and quietly watch him. Uncle Clarence wasn't much of a talker. Very quiet guy like my dad was. Some things we will never and cant ever forget. May all my family members rest in peace and may we all meet again God willing.
