Iris Kathleen Butler ( Riley 1898 - 1955

Iris Kathleen (Riley) Butler was born in 1898 to Amy Julia Riley ( Jones and John James George Riley, and had siblings Cyril Guy Riley, Joseph Valentine Riley, Deny Oscar Riley, Emma Julia Dewar ( Riley, Ernest George Riley, and Julius Pablo "Tony" Riley. She married Albert Walter (Walker) Butler, and died at age 57 years old in 1955. Iris Butler was buried at Karrakatta Cemetery Railway Rd, in Karrakatta, City of Nedlands County, WA Australia.

Introduction

The West Australian, Perth, Tuesday 23rd July 1918. SOCIAL NOTES. On Wednesday, July 3, at St. Luke's Anglican Church, Gingin, was celebrated the marriage of Mr. Albert W. Butler, to Iris Kathleen, youngest daughter of Mrs. A. J. Riley, of Gingin. The Rev. F. G. O'Halloran officiated. The bride who was given away by her brother, Mr. Cyril Riley, was daintily gowned in cream ninon over cream silk, finished with pretty hand silk work, and a train of pale pink, the embroided veil with orange blossom, and a shower bouquet completed her toilette. Miss Ida Lucraft, as bridesmaid, wore a pale pink silk crepe-de-chine frock, with hat to match. Mr. Julius Riley acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception and wedding tea was held at the residence of the bride's mother, where the usual toasts were honoured.
