Jack Kenneth Murphy Sr. was born on October 1, 1932 in East St. Louis, St. Clair County, Illinois United States. He was married to Wenona Jean Porter on December 12, 1954 in Hernando, DeSoto County, Mississippi, and they were together until Jack's death on May 3, 1980 in Francesville, Pulaski County, Indiana. He had children Joseph Kevin Murphy, Dennis Keith Murphy, Jack Kenneth Murphy Jr., and Donna Kay (Murphy) Ogden. Jack Murphy was buried in -1980 in Medaryville.
