Wenona Jean Porter 1936 - 1999

Jean Porter was born on February 28, 1936 in New Madrid, New Madrid County, Missouri United States to Willard Allen Porter and Katherine Creed (Hobbs) Porter, and had a sister Edna Porter. She married Jack Kenneth Murphy on December 12, 1954 in Hernando, DeSoto County, Mississippi, and they were married until Jack's death on May 3, 1980 in Francesville, Pulaski County, Indiana. She had children Joseph Kevin Murphy, Dennis Keith Murphy, Jack Kenneth Murphy Jr., and Donna Kay (Murphy) Ogden. Jean Porter died at age 63 years old on June 26, 1999, and was buried in June 1999 at White Post Cemetery 100 N 1425 W, in Medaryville, Pulaski County.
