He married Christina Geraldine Castimore in 1988 in Newark, Essex County, and they were married until James' death on March 3, 2016 in Newton, Sussex County. He had children Kayla Rose Castimore and Olivia Nicole Castimore. James Castimore was buried at Cremated.
