James Miller had siblings William Darrell Miller, Betty Marie Miller, Robert Earl Miller, and Jerry Lee Miller. He married Barbara Marie (Denison ) Miller on June 22, 1956 in Brandt, Miami County and they later divorced on December 3, 1976. They had children Linda Sue (Miller ) Fernadez, Linda Sue (Miller ) Saldana, Debra Lynn (Miller ) Parrish, Regina Kay (Miller ) Betz, and Regina Kay (Miller ) Hitesman. He married Jane (Strome ) Miller in March 1967 in Clark County. He and Evelyn Jane (Balmer ) Miller married on February 27, 1967 in Clark County and they later divorced. He and Doris Marie (Yordy Sponsel ) Miller married on December 21, 1971 in Troy, Miami County, and they were married until James' death on February 15, 1997 in Tipp City.
