James Edward Sain 1895 - 1981

James Edward Sain was born on August 24, 1895 to Ida Jane Cheshier Sain and William Thomas Sain. He was in a relationship with Nona Mae Hall Sain, and had children William Thomas Sain, Albert Franklin Sain, Ruby Jo Sain Holland, Mae Bell Sain Cox, Zelma Louise Sain Hinson, Parnell Sain, Delmar Daniel Sain, and Edwin Darnell Sain. James Sain died at age 85 years old on June 29, 1981.

In 1895, in the year that James Edward Sain was born, on March 15th, in County Tipperary, Ireland, Michael Cleary killed his wife of 8 years, Bridget, and burned her body. His defense was that his "wife" was a changeling that was left in his real wife's place when she was abducted by fairies. He was nonetheless convicted and imprisoned for manslaughter. He spent 15 years in prison.
