James M Reed was born in March 1840 in Virginia USA. He was married to Orrell (Cutting) Reed, and they were together until death separated them. He had children Leora Wood (Reed) Tate, Alameda C Reed, and Orpha Frances (Reed) Ewbank. James Reed died at age 77 years old in 1917, and was buried at Louisburg Cemetery in Louisburg, Miami County, KS.
