Fisher, William Ambrose Fisher, Jr., and Edward Curry Fisher. He married Mary Louise (Bullock) Fisher, and had children Jeannine (Fisher) Rickard and Jodie (Fisher) Lavender. James Fisher died at age 88 years old on April 1, 2005 in Stockbridge, Henry County, GA.

    Mr. James Thomas Fisher, 88, of Stockbridge, passed away peacefully April 1, 2005, at the Portsbridge Hospice in Conyers. The son of William Ambrose and Ella Womack Fisher, he was born on Dec. 28, 1916, in Rock Island, Tenn. He moved to Atlanta at the age of 10 and attended Boys High School and Georgia Tech. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II with the 58th Signal Corp in the Asiatic Pacific Theater. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 1, Atlanta, and the Stockbridge Presbyterian Church. During his business career, he served as secretary/treasurer of B and C Metal Stamping Company, Atlanta, and he retired in 1973 from Kearney International, Tucker. After his retirement, he was a builder in Henry County. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Grace Morris; and his wife, Mary Louise Bullock Fisher. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannine and Ron Rickard, and Jamie and Tom Lavender; grandson, Ryan Rickard and his wife, Marci; granddaughter, Jana Rickard; great-granddaughter, Riley Rickard, of Woodstock; and brothers, Bill Fisher, of Bethlehem, and Ed Fisher, of Snellville. Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Decatur, GA.
