    Jane Christine Janie Splude, 37 WESTBROOK -- Jane Christine Janie Splude, 37, of Westbrook and formerly of Portland died on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2007, unexpectedly at the Maine Medical Center. Janie was born in Portland on July 12, 1969, the daughter of the late James L. Splude Sr. and mother, Jane C. Connell Splude. She attended schools in Portland and was a free spirited person who enjoyed her family and many friends. She loved her children and always appreciated so very much the wonderful father that they had, Joseph Martin Earles II. She is survived by her mother, Jane Pinette and step-father Dennis W. Pinette Sr. of Westbrook. There are four brothers, Dennis J. Splude and Jeffrey M. Splude both of Portland, Richard A. Splude of Westbrook and James L. Splude Jr. of Arizona; three sisters, Kathleen M. Splude of Topsham, Michelle M. Splude of Westbrook and Cynthia L. Cox of Portland. Also, Janie has one son, Joseph Martin Earles III; and one daughter, Christine Patricia Earles both of Portland. There are two step-sisters, Denise Butler of Winterport and Deborah Pinette of Florida; and two step-brothers, Dennis Pinette Jr. of Saco and Darren Pinette of Bangor; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, Feb. 21, from 10-11 a.m., at the Independent Death Care Memorial Chapel at 471 Deering Avenue, Portland. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m., with interment to at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
