    OBITUARY Jeffrey Michael Splude June 6, 1961 – February 21, 2021 Obituary of Jeffrey Michael Splude Portland, ME - Jeffrey Michael Splude, 59, of Portland, passed away unexpectedly on February 21, 2021 after a life-long fight against mental illness. He was born on June 11, 1961 in Portland, ME. He was the son of the late James L. and Jane C. (Connell) Splude Sr. He graduated Portland High School in 1979 and joined the army shortly after graduation. He served a short time and was honorably discharged for medical reasons. Jeff was very artistic and loved to sketch and draw. He was very passionate about astronomy and astrology. He enjoyed articulating about individuals zodiac signs and how it relates to each person. He liked to play jokes and to make people laugh too. He is survived by his brothers Dennis J. Splude Sr & James L Splude Jr., His sisters Cynthia L. Cox, Kathleen Simpson & Michelle Splude, as well as many cousins, nieces & nephews. He was also the brother of the late Richard A. Splude Sr. and Janie C. Splude. He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Jeff will be laid to rest with his mom, whom passed away just a few shorts months ago. They are together forever in heaven and he will no longer suffer. Love you brother Jeff!
