    Character Actress. Huge career on television more than in films. In 1964, Dulo joined the cast of The Jack Benny Program in a recurring role as Benny's cook. She had a recurring comedic role in the "Sha Na Na" TV series. Dulo also appeared in Hey, Jeannie!, The Phil Silvers Show, The Joey Bishop Show, McHale's Navy (in a recurring role as nurse Molly in 1962–1965), The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Man from UNCLE (The Adriatic Express Affair), I Dream of Jeannie, My Three Sons, Get Smart (in a recurring role as agent 99's mother starting in the fourth season), Leave It to Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, Emergency!, Gunsmoke, Medical Center, The Odd Couple, The Hudson Brothers, That Girl, Welcome Back, Kotter, The Golden Girls, Razzle Dazzle Show and Gimme a Break!, and others. She appeared in The Phil Silvers Show episode Bilko's Grand Hotel.

Early life and career Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Dulo was the elder daughter of Lawrence Dewlow and Nettie Lurie; the former a Latvian immigrant, the latter of Lithuanian descent; both were Jewish. Using Dulo as a stage name, she began her career at the age of ten performing in vaudeville. When she was older, an agent in New York had her change her name to Jane Dillon, which she used in night clubs in Baltimore and New York. However, when she appeared in Philadelphia in the musical Are You With It? a radio commentator named Jane Dillon in Bridgeport, Connecticut, threatened to sue her. Then she resumed using Dulo. In 1964, Dulo joined the cast of The Jack Benny Program in a recurring role as Benny's cook. She had a recurring comedic role in the "Sha Na Na" TV series.     Jane Dulo; Actress, Comedienne in TV Series of ‘50s-’70s L.A. TIMES ARCHIVES MAY 25, 1994 12 AM PT Jane Dulo, actress and comedienne who appeared on major television series in the 1950s through the 1970s, has died. She was 75. Miss Dulo died Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after cardiac surgery. Born in Baltimore, Miss Dulo began her acting career on the stage, appearing in the Broadway shows “Are You With It?” and “On the Town.” Moving to television, she portrayed nurse Molly Turner for two years in the long-running series “McHale’s Navy.” In the late 1970s, she was the regular “woman in the window” on “Sha Na Na,” a humorous series reviving music of the 1950s. Miss Dulo was a semi-regular on “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “Get Smart,” and appeared on variety shows hosted by Jack Benny, Jackie Gleason, Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Perry Como, and Martha Raye.
