Jay Wickizer, Little Known Talent

We spent a week or so in southeastern Missouri in late May and took a two day side trip to Branson.
We had never been there before.
Went to one of the oldest, continuously running shows, Presley's Country Jubilee, no relation to Elvis.
This man, Jay Wickizer, a working Texan contractor, figured prominently in the show, singing solos, duets and bass with the Gospel quartet.
He was essentially the emcee.
I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone with the vocal range this man has, from high tenor to profoundly low bass.
I spoke with him during the break and asked if he had any CD's of his own. He said no, he'd recorded one a long time ago. It didn't sell, it's out of print and no copies available.
Before the show was over, I had located his 1992 CD, Cowboy's Dream, on the internet and it was downloadable for a fee.
I showed him that after the show and he was visibly amazed.
I couldn't find anything with him hitting any high tenor notes.
This man can sing. I wish he was recording on his own.
