He would also marry Patsy (Collier) Payne and they later divorced on June 12, 1979 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, TX. He also married Joan (Woodress) Payne and they later divorced on October 4, 1977 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County. They had a child Kelly Gene Payne. He would also marry Frieda (McGee) Payne, and they were married until Frieda's death. They had children Jesse Littleton Payne III and Brooks E. Payne. Jesse Payne died at age 68 years old on December 16, 2004 in Wichita Falls, TX.
