She had siblings Alice Lavina (Stacey) Bennell, Edith Louisa (Stacey) Long, Minnie Thurlby (Stacey) Leslie, Louisa Edith Gore, Ethel Elizabeth (Stacey) Dight, Theodore Lancaster Stacey, Henry Stacey, and Charles Roy Stacey. She married Edward James Wakeum, and died at age 53 years old on August 14, 1943 at Mont Park in Macleod, City of Darebin County. Jessie Wakeum was buried at Fawkner Memorial Park Sydney Rd, in Hadfield, City of Merri-bek County.
