Went to North Texas State University beginning in 1977 and graduated from NTSU in August of 1985 with a BBA emphasis in Marketing and Fine Arts.

    Joanne (Jody) went to the Episcopal church. She attended Camp Crucis Episcopal Church Camp in Granbury Texas every summer from 5th grade through college. She was also a camp counselor many summers while in high school and college and on staff in 1977. She was on the Board of Directors for Camp Crucis in the 1990's. She was a member at St Marks Episcopal Church in Irving, then later at St Paul's in Dallas, and later at St. Matthew's Episcopal Cathedral in Dallas.

    Joaane was not a military veteran but her father, Ret Capt Frederick William Alcott II served in the Army Air Corp and later in USAF as a glider pilot in WWII and later at SAC after the war.
