Joe W Green of Las Vegas, Clark County, NV was born on March 12, 1932 to William W Green and Mattie Lenora Green. He had a brother Jack Edward Green. He married Monica Teresa (Patricia) Smyth on April 5, 1953 in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Monterey County, California United States and they later divorced on March 26, 1976 in Whittier, Los Angeles County United States. He had a child Monica Teresa (Green). Joe Green died at age 74 years old on September 2, 2006, and was buried at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery

Joe was born in Randlett, Oklahoma back in March of 1932. He always told us he was born in Tulsa, but I confirmed this was not true when I obtained a copy of his birth and death certificates. As far as I know, he spent most of his childhood in Electra, Texas. There was a rumor that when he was younger, he attended an Indian (native american) elementary school, maybe this was in Oklahoma, but I have not found any records of this as of this writing. He later attended school in Electra, Texas and I have found his yearbook pictures in the Ancestry website.

He started out as an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life in San Francisco, California. After a few years, he switched over to the United California Bank (UCB) in Whittier, around 1961. He was the assistant branch manager in East Los Angeles, when his career ended at the bank.
