John Alexander Brotchie 1869 - 1935

John Alexander Brotchie was born on February 4, 1869 in Fitzroy, Yarra City County, VIC Australia to John Brotchie and Sarah Esther (Sheldrake) Brotchie. He married Ada Florence (Carpenter) Brotchie on April 25, 1895 in Fitzroy, Yarra City County, Victoria, and they were married until death separated them. He had children Edward Bonaventure Heffernan Brotchie, Edgar Heffernan Brotchie, Elsie Esther Heffernan (Brotchie) Foster, Ada (Brotchie) Chalmers, Richard Brotchie, Rose McGain, Victoria Brotchie, and Ruby Grenfell. John Brotchie died at age 66 years old on May 11, 1935, and was buried at Melbourne General Cemetery, College Cres, in Parkville, Melbourne City County, VIC.
