This is a daguerreotype photo, date is unknown.

The subjects are a mystery. There is a possiblilty this is an early photo of Rev. John Foster of Clackamas County, Oregon. Photo taken in the early 1800's, possibly in Kentucky. His mate in the photo would be Nancy Foster. Maiden name is unknown.

Do they resemble anyone you know?
On the table there appears to be a bible, what do you think?

I only wish I had at least as much info as you do. I have a vague idea of where he originated, South Carolina, which was on his Donation Land Claim form in Oregon. But in another document he states, Scott Co. KY.??
Can you recognize any of the features of these persons?
