People we remember
Biographies are where we share about family & friends to connect with others who remember them.

Martin Guerrero:
I only visited my grandfather a couple of times before he passed way but my earliest memory is of him drinking a beer out of a can and sitting in his favorite chair.
Fast forward, we attended his funeral and it made me sad because I saw my mother sad. It was my first time to ever see anyone in a casket, it kind of scared me; I was nine years old.

George Dunne:
A true patriot - Helen Irene Dunne Heinz was one of 13 children born to an Army family at Fort Riley in Kansas. She along with her older brother ( my father ) and younger sister were sent to live with their maternal grandmother in New Jersey to ease the strain on the family. She attended nursing school in New Jersey and was a roommate with a woman who eventually became my mother. Helen served as an enlisted officer along with her surgeon husband in the Korean campaign's MASH units. She was a stunningly beautiful woman and as our family rumors have it, she was the prototype for the character of Margaret "Hot Lips" Houlihan on the TV show M.A.S.H.
Michael Terredanio:
John was my father's brother I only stayed with him for a little while in his home and Pearl City but I never forgot him he's one of the kindest people I've ever met in my life can you remind me of my father - He had the coolest smile just always laid back never to worry about nothing a good beautiful wife that cherish them in his later days I was fortunate enough to call him family never forget your it was a pleasure knowing you

Saesha Wallis:
Catherine's Eldest Son's (with Paul Fukuhara) Eldest (2nd to really) Daughter - Catherine was my grandmother. She passed when I was just 15 years old. I moved from Hawaii to Texas at around the age of 10 years old, so I don't have a lot of memories of her at all.
Honestly, all I remember is her sitting at the dining room table. I have no memory of her ever talking or walking. I know she did because my mother said she used to walk me to school & told me of conversations they had, but as hard as I try to recollect anything other than her sitting there...I just can't.
I wish I would've known her better, but it's ok because we'll meet again & when we do...we'll have eternity to get to know one another.
Rita Campbell:
Adelina was my mother - Her preferred name, and stage name while she worked much of her life as a dancer, was Lili. She didn’t like her given name and liked her middle name even less. She was very quiet, modest, and elegant.
She loved to read, garden, discuss books with my father, and she wanted the best in the world for her children. She had a pet canary. When she was a child she lived on a ranch in Arizona with an aunt and had a pet rooster.
She was trained in classical ballet, and was a professional dance team with my God father through the Great Depression era. They called themselves Tavo and Lili. They worked a lot for community events and parties for the very rich, and also regularly as extras for MGM studios. She was a stand-in for Delores del Rio the famous crossover Mexican actress.
Mom had extremely high standards. She always had excellent posture and was very graceful and charming. She was a dancer and my dad was a musician, and so they met in the entertainment field.
He decided to court her, and they got married and she gave birth to my brother, Louis Anthony. My dad went to serve in WWII, did his duty to country, was honorably discharged and after he returned, I came along. She had a bad heart and later in life, dad nursed her with great care and devotion until she passed. He died nine years after her.
