I miss you Lew
We met at Warren Tricomi and became fast friends. He always looked out for me, I will never forget when he called me and said “Mariah wants you to come over and do her makeup” I was so nervous ! We worked with her for good while and had so much fun. Definitely one of the highlights of my career. I am so sad he didn’t get to see my daughter grow up to be such a beautiful human.. He would have been so proud and would have been a great uncle to her. We miss you so much it hurts. You were one of my favorite humans.

I couldn't find Lew's obituary and I think it's a shame. I did however find his parents' obituaries below:

ABLAHANI - Dorothy M. (Potter), of Paterson, on Aug. 28. Beloved wife of Elias (Louie) Ablahani. Dear mother of Lew T. Ablahani and Mrs. Joseph (Julie Ann) Pasadava. Devoted grandmother of Donna M. Pasadava. Beloved daughter of Mary Potter. Dear sister of alter L. Potter Jr., Mrs. Neil (Florence) Foglia. Mrs. Stephen (Viola) Rapp and Mrs. Harold (Judith) Esmarian. Devoted niece of Helen St. Almond.

Funeral Saturday, 9:15 a.m. at the Allwood Funeral Home, 660-670 Allwood Road, Cliffton Mass, 10 a.m. at St. Brendan R.C. Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visiting, Thursday 7-9, Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm.

Brother of Anna Hallock and Mary Rigoloso-White. Also survived by two granddaughters and several nieces and nephews. She (sic) was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Boulevard, Totowa, on Saturday at 8:45 AM. Funeal mass to follow at St. Brendan R.C. Church, Clifton at 9:30 AM. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Friends may call Friday 7-9 PM only. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of NJ, 400 Broadacres Drive, Bloomfield, NJ 07003 would be appreciated. For more information go to www.festamemorial.com

Lew helped launch my career as a celebrity makeup artist. I will forever be grateful for his support and trust in me. He was a beautiful soul and I miss him everyday
