John Dietrich Ohmie 1890 - 1959

John Dietrich Ohmie was born on January 23, 1890 in Remington, Jasper County, IN to William Frederick Ohmie and Karoline (Bauch) Ohmie. He married Bertha Marie Martha Louise (Gehrke) Ohmie on December 25, 1911 in Wellington, Sumner County, KS, and had children Herman William Ohmie, Harry Edward Ohmie Sr, Raymond Leroy Ohmie, Mildred (Ohmie) Corbett, Irwin Clarence Ohmie, Lillie Irene (Ohmie) Adams, Robert John Ohmie, and Floyd Eugene Ohmie. John Ohmie died at age 68 years old on January 19, 1959 in Garnett, Anderson County, KS, and was buried on January 22, 1959 at Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Aliceville, Coffey County.
