Bertha Marie Martha Louise (Gehrke) Ohmie 1892 - 1962

Bertha Marie Martha Louise (Gehrke) Ohmie was born on December 25, 1892 in Ramona, Marion County, KS to Hermann John Gustav Gehrke and Albertine(a) Bertha Theresa (Hensel) Gehrke, and had siblings Carl John August Gehrke, Robert Frank Herman Gehrke, Berhart August Carl Gehrke, Anna Matilda Gehrke, August Benhart Gehrke, and Otto Freidrich Herman Gehrke. She married John Dietrich Ohmie on December 25, 1911 in Wellington, Sumner County, KS, and had children Herman William Ohmie, Harry Edward Ohmie Sr, Raymond Leroy Ohmie, Mildred (Ohmie) Corbett, Irwin Clarence Ohmie, Lillie Irene (Ohmie) Adams, Robert John Ohmie, and Floyd Eugene Ohmie. Bertha Ohmie died at age 69 years old in 1962 in Burlington, Coffey County, Ks, and was buried in 1962 at Saint Johns Lutheran Cemetery in Alliceville.
