Otto Freidrich Herman Gehrke 1890 - 1979

Otto Freidrich Herman Gehrke was born on November 30, 1890 in Ramona, Marion County, Kansas USA to Hermann John Gustav Gehrke and Albertine(a) Bertha Theresa (Hensel) Gehrke, and had siblings Carl John August Gehrke, Robert Frank Herman Gehrke, Berhart August Carl Gehrke, Anna Matilda Gehrke, August Benhart Gehrke, and Bertha Marie Martha Louise (Gehrke) Ohmie. He married Clara Bertha Wilhelmina (Brockmeier) Gehrke on June 25, 1916 in Shady Brook, Dickinson County, KS, and they were married until Clara's death on June 11, 1968. He had children Esther Bertha (Gehrke) Pine, Roy Edward Gehrke, Otto Herman Gehrke Jr, Milton Clarence Gehrke, Clarence Lavern Gehrke, and Richard Robert Gehrke. Otto Gehrke died at age 88 years old on March 25, 1979 in Herington, Dickinson County, KS, and was buried in March 1979 at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington.
