    John G. Fogarty Passes Away- John G.Fogarty, aged 70, well known retired farmer, a resident of Monroe, died at his home at 4 O'Clock Thursday morning. Dropsy was said to be the cause of his death. Mr. Fogarty was born in Ireland, on August 15, 1855. He leaves to mourn his death the bereaved widow, six daughters, Katherine Randell, of Mason; Mrs. Frances Schultheiss, Myrtle Fogarty, Mrs. Mary Thompson, Mrs. Annie Thompson, Helen Fogarty, of Monroe; three sons, Micheal, Harry, and Edward Fogarty and two sisters, Mrs. Martin Farrell, of Monroe, Mrs. Patrick Purcell, of Middletown. Many other relatives and a large circle of friends survive. He was a retired farmer and had spent practically his entire life in the vicinity of Monroe. He came to America at the age of 16. Funeral services will take place from the residence Saturday morning at 9:15am and from the Monroe Catholic Church at 9:30am. Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Middletown.
