John James Bishop of Northcote, City of Darebin County, VIC Australia was born in 1858 in Avoca, Pyrenees Shire County to William Bray Bishop and Mary Ann Carlyon. He had siblings Eliza Jane Bishop, Martha Bishop, Tamazine Alice Bishop, Samuel Richard Bishop, Alfred Bray Bishop, Joseph Bishop, William Henry Bishop, and Edward Thomas Bishop. He married Mary Shugg Bishop in 1880, and had children Thomas John Bishop, William James Bishop, Joseph Arthur Bishop, Cecil Ivey Bishop, Horace Eddy Bishop, Myrtle Mary Amelia Bishop, and Vivian Richard Bishop. John Bishop died at age 64 years old on May 3, 1923 in Northcote, City of Darebin County.
