Daddy was abandoned by his father as he told me when he was a child, about13 yes of age. He was working on a farm in Kansas. He found his way to Chicago, became a boxer, joined the navy, retuned from WWII, worked for the post office, put himself through law school, became a highly respected lawyer. He made an unfortunate marriage to alma Ruth Watson. They had three child, john keith who committed suicide in his 20's, George l.Morrison who died at 56 , his birth father was a matter of debate. I am his daughter,Susan. I admire my dad . He reserved love and respect..He had a sad,lonely life. He told me he had ten siblings but his wife would not allow him to look for them, she thought them "low class" She lived a facade of "good breeding",most comfortablely. Daddy had a stroke,first she put him in Baptist hospital, then a motel, Jackson tenn. Daddy died in a nursing home in Milan Tenn.afraid, alone. Once he told me he had family in east Tenn and west n.c.I heard I have a 1st cousin, Susan in Chicago, the child of the girl daddy really loved but left because alma Ruth, her sister faked being"with child", he felt obligated to leave Margret.
