John Shergold was born in 1882 to Samuel Shergold and Sarah Ann Shergold ( Greenwood, and had siblings Millicent Ethel Griffith ( Shergold, Sydney Alfred Shergold, and Albert Edward Shergold. He married Ethel May Walker ( Shergold ( Hedley, and they had children John "Jack" Shergold, Kenneth William Shergold, Robert Hedley Shergold, and Dorothy Goodwin ( Shergold. He would also marry Clara Florence Shergold ( Cutten, and they had children Thelma Florence Weatherby ( Shergold and Jean Phyllis Florence May Lyons ( Stevenson ( Shergold. John Shergold died at age 47 years old on June 2, 1930 in Essendon, Moonee Valley City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Kew Cemetery/High St in Kew, Boroondara City County.
