John Thomas Cowell 1879 - 1956

John Thomas Cowell of Leongatha, South Gippsland Shire County, VIC Australia was born on January 5, 1879 in Rosedale, Wellington Shire County to Edward Cowell and Mary Rosina (Collis) Cowell. John Cowell had siblings Eliza Amelia (Cowell) Simmons, Ethel Jane Cowell, Pauline Donelly Cowell, Walter Gordon Cowell, and Edward Alfred Cowell. He married Lillian Pettitt in 1900. They had children Lillian Baden Cowell and John Claude Cowell. He also married Annie Helena Simon in 1921. John Cowell died at age 77 years old on June 17, 1956 in Leongatha, South Gippsland Shire County.
