He had siblings Ellen Rowe, Mary Ann Rowe, Margaret Rowe, Charles William Rowe, Caroline Rowe, Isabella Rowe, Samuel Henry Rowe, David Rowe, Francis Catten Rowe, Carol Rowe, Margaret Rowe, Charles William Rowe, Isabella Ross, Francis Catton Rowe, and David Rowe. John Rowe died at age 38 years old on November 10, 1917, and was buried at Artillery Wood Cemetery Ix. C. 17. in Belgium.
