Joseph Dowey 1834 - 1898

Joseph Dowey of Heidelberg, City of Banyule County, VIC Australia was born on July 20, 1834 in Antrim, Antrim and Newtownabbey County, Northern Ireland United Kingdom to Henry Dowey and Sarah (Tate) Dowey. He had siblings Sarah Jane (Dowey) Wilson and Catherine (Dowey) Johnstone. He married Elizabeth Fletcher Dowey in 1858, and had children William Henry Dowey, Ernest Joseph Dowey, Violetta Elizabeth Dowey, Catherine Sarah Dowey, Edward Dowey, and Anna Maria Dowey. Joseph Dowey died at age 63 years old on June 21, 1898 in Heidelberg, City of Banyule County, VIC Australia.
