Sarah (Tate) Dowey 1798 - 1896

Sarah (Tate) Dowey of Romsey, Macedon Ranges Shire County, VIC Australia was born in 1798 in Northern Ireland United Kingdom to Josiah Tate. She married Henry Dowey on August 11, 1831 in Aghalee, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon County, and they were married until Henry's death on November 12, 1883. She had children Catherine (Dowey) Johnstone, Joseph Dowey, and Sarah Jane (Dowey) Wilson. Sarah Dowey died at age 97 years old on July 26, 1896 in Macedon Ranges Shire County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Lancefield Cemetery in Lancefield.
