I am the daughter of Joseph michael kennedy who was the son of Hilda Plotzza and joseph michael kennedy snr. My name is joyce mary kennedy. I am 60 years old. my father had 12 children. ten sons and two daughters. He lived with the aboriginal people when he came to the north west. my mother is aboriginal. We lived on the fringe of town in the bush with my mothers parents when we were children then moved into town..He came to robinvale with friends and at that time he lived in Essendon with his parents. He came up for a holiday and to rest his broken arm. I think it was a cricket injury. That was his favourite sport, he played up intil he was at least 50 years old, that i remember. He was a good father and was very protective of his children. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Some of us still live in robinvale, others in melbourne, albury and echuca. His sisters were Hilda, Thora, Kathleen, Joyce and they had one other brother James who was killed in ww2 when he was 22years old.
