    Apache Weeks Review June 17, 1938, page 1 J. T. McBride, 72 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. B. Cronan, at 6 o'clock Monday morning. Death was due to paralysis, with which he was stricken several months ago. He had since been bedfast. Funeral services were held at the Pentacostal church at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and were conducted by Rev. B. J. Anderson. Burial was in Fairview cemetary. Pallbearers were L. E. Wright, George Hicks, J. C. Oswald, Jess Shipley, Jim Palembo and W. C. Rhoads. Mr. Mc Bride was born at McMindle (McMinnville, Warren County), Tenn. January 18, 1866. He was married to Virginia Wright at that place April 7, 1886 and nine children, five sons and four daughters, were born to them. One child is deceased. Mr. McBride and his family came to Oklahoma from Tennessee in August 1898 and located at Ryan. They came to Apache in May 1924. Mrs. McBride died May 16, 1928. Mr. McBride was marred to Lillie Green near Geary September 28, 1931. Surviving the deceased are four sons, Alf of Mesa, Ariz, Joe of Denison, TX. Ace of Noble and Sam of Apache; four daughters, Mrs. Annie Blackburn of Denison, TX, Mrs. J. E. Lee of Noble and Mrs. R. C. Trotter and Mrs. E. B. Cronon of Apache; five step children Johnnie, Harry and Adel Green of Gainesville, TX, Mrs. Alma Metcalf of Soda Springs and Mrs. Lavada Clayburn of Alvin; two brothers, Dan McBride of Graham TX and Emanual McBride of Huntsville, Ala; three sisters Mrs. Frances Wright of Ryan, Mrs. Becky Womack of Chattanooga Tenn, and Mrs. Luella Byrd in Florida, and nine grandchildren
