    My brother, died at the hands of Jeanette and Ed Sykes. Manner of death unknown. He was my best childhood friend growing up. We were separated at the age of 12 and I seen him twice in the last 56 years. I miss him.

    Butch was into painting and restoration of cars according to his son Mason. Butch had a Corvette and several other cars at the time of his passing, these have never been found.

Butch and Dig ( Kelvin & Lila)
I'm Lila, Butch's older sister by 15 months.
I loved Butch ( Kelvin) from the time I can remember.
I had a small baby buggy I put my doll in. When Butch was born, I took the doll out and put Butch in the buggy and pushed him to the corner market where the grocer called my Mom and she came and walked us back home. I played with Butch non-stop and we became inseparable and carried the nicknames, Butch and Dig, wherever Butch was, I was there as well.
This was an unbreakable bond. ( At least I thought.) I had one older sister, one younger brother and sister as well.
Butch and I were separated by my parents divorce, Butch lived with my Dad and I lived with an Aunt.
Distance grew between us and finally my Dad moved to Indiana . I sobbed my "little girl heart out" day after day reassured by my Aunt, it was only temporary.
Years went by and no contact, at least that was what I was told.
My older sister, Jeanette was traveling back East to see my Dad and Brothers unknown to me.
Years went by and we grew up, I found Butch in Texas and drove there to see him, he held a can of beer in one hand and a cigarette in another. We spent a total of two hours together and I drove back to California.
I found Butch and Jeanette living in Colorado in 1976, Jeanette expecting a baby, flew there, spent time with both and didn't see Butch again until 2004.
Too much time had passed, we were both different people, we shared nothing in common and life took its toll on our relationship. Butch had become selfish, self absorbed and Pro-Jeanette, controlled by Jeanette and afraid of Jeanette.
I ended the contact between us.
Butch became mentally ill in 2017, reaching out to anyone that would listen. Unfortunately, No one cared anymore and Butch was unable to find his 3 sons, he wasn't mentally capable to find me and he reached out to the wrong people.
People seem to end up dead in Jeanette and Ed's care. Jeanette has a history of preying on the vulnerable and aged, knowing Butch was not able to care for himself, Jeanette and Ed flew to Georgia and I received a call from Jeanette's daughter telling me Butch died in her care.

I miss Butch.
Mason ( His son) and I looked for him for 6 months and was always close to finding him. He lived in a dirty Motel in Villa Rica Georgia for two years stock piling food and flashing his money. I talked with the Motel Manager who gave me this information after my son tracked Butch through social security. Butch was declared mentally ill in 2017 and in several mental institutions. Upon release Butch called Jeanette and Ed looking for help. He called the wrong people.
