2 Memories, Stories & Photos about Laura

Laura Ann Eastman Raymond
Laura Ann Eastman Raymond
I have an old studio photograph of Laura EASTMAN RAYMOND which was taken at the Fellows Studio in White River Junction, VT. Her birthdate is identified as 15 June 1862. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Laura in her 20's. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Laura and her family:

Laura Ann EASTMAN was b. 15 Jun 1862 in Washington, VT to parents Orin B. EASTMAN (1820-1903) and Maranda A. FELLOWS or FELLOW (1930-1868) who were married 31 Oct 1848 in Washington, VT. Laura was one of four children born to this couple including Elijah Merriel; Ida Elizabeth; Mira or Myra Ella; and Laura Ann EASTMAN, all born between 1851 and 1862.

After Laura’s mother died her father remarried and another daughter was born, Lucy May EASTMAN (b. 1879). Laura married George Henry RAYMOND (1860-1921) on 14 Apr 1893 in Randolph, VT and she died 24 Feb 1906 in Randolph, VT and is buried in the Elmwood Cemetery in Barre, VT.

I am hoping to get the photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at Fellows Studio in Hartford, Windsor County, Vermont United States
