She had siblings Annie Amelia Vevers (Brailey) Stephenson, Frank Brailey, Arthur Brailey, Emma Ethel Braily, Bertha Brailey, William Henry Brailey, Henry George Brailey, and Emily Brailey Stephenson. She married Albert Edward Murden in 1895, and had children Edward Ralph Murden, Edith Ethel Murden, John Henry Wilmott Murden, Elsie May Murden, and Arthur George Murden. Laura Murden died at age 71 years old on December 13, 1942 in South Melbourne.
