Gertrude Lewis Hoff
A photo of Cousin Gertrude Lewis Hoff. I wrote to Gertrude when I started looking up the family in 1938. She grew up in Jaspar Co, Iowa and married Dr A. Hoff. Her parents were Nathan Douglas Lewis & Mary Likes. Her grandparents were John Lewis (1798-1867) & Mary Douglas, my mothers Great Uncle and Aunt. She assembled the 1st Lewis genealogy with Loretta Lewis Cowan. She sent this snapshot taken by a Sister from a Trenton NJ convent.
