He married Frances (Murray) Menogue, and had children Thomas Somerville Menogue, Olive Elizabeth (Menogue) Kohn, Gladys Frances Menogue, Albert Barton Menogue, and Eileen Russell. Laurence Menogue died on January 14, 1919, and was buried at Brighton General Cemetery in Caulfield South, Glen Eira City County, VIC Australia.
