Leon Truitt 1935 - 1971

Leon Truitt of Fort Deposit, Lowndes County, Alabama United States was born on May 24, 1935 to Essie L Truitt and Roosevelt Truitt. He had siblings Eugene Truitt, Jessie James Lawhorn, George Truitt, Abbie Lee (Truitt) Johnson, Roosevelt Truitt Jr, and Bennie Ray Truitt. He married Shirley (Williams) Truitt Lymons in Fort Deposit, Lowndes County, and they were married until Leon's death on December 3, 1971. He had children Omega Truitt, Leon Truitt Jr, Kathy Truitt, Bruce Wayne Truitt, Carla (Truitt), and Pylishia Truitt. Leon Truitt was buried in December 1971 at Summer Hill Cemetery in Fort Deposit.
