Lake Nebagamon Baptist Church Confirmation Class
Lake Nebagamon Swedish Baptist Church was established in 1894. The founding families met in members homes until the first house of worship was built in 1897 on land given by the L J Vennerstrom Family.

DRJohnson, Eva & 4 children
Taken in 1891, Daniel Richard Johnson, wife, Eva Anderson Johnson, Ella, Lillian, Marie and Richard. Daniel and Eva emigrated from Sweden in 1882. They farmed in northern Wisconsin and raised 8 children. Daniel was instrumental in starting the Carl Von Linne School in Lake Nebagamon; donating the land and taking timber for the school house from his property. He died in a farm accident in 1909 and Eva continued farming with the children. Eva passed away in 1933.
